Electronic Silo Certificates Announcement
Following from our new
pricing announcement, dated May 19th 2008, we received spirited and valuable
feedback from the various market participants.
This feedback has prompted us to review our position and the pricing announcement.
The ESC board has decided to implement the new pricing structure effective 09 June
2008 as follows:
New pricing structure effective 9 June 2008:

R180 |
(200 ton certificates fall into this category) |
| 201 - 500.999 tons |
R400 |
(500 ton certificates fall into this category) |
| 501 - 1000 tons |
R800 |
*(1000 ton certificate is the maximum size for a certificate) |
*The new pricing structure
will allow for the maximum of one thousand (1000) tons to be issued per certificate.
Pricing will be effective
from 9 June 2008 and will apply to all new Safex and non-Safex electronic certificates issued.
You will note that the
pricing structure for certificates below 200 tons remains unchanged.
